I believe God has designed each of us for a specific purpose, just as a potter deliberately crafts each piece
of pottery for a specific use. I believe that our first purpose in life is to bring glory and honor to our creator who is
able to shape or form our lives that we might each be used for that specific purpose for which we have been designed.
However,
simply knowing God's specific purpose for our lives, we will not achieve it alone. We must allow God to guide and instruct
us as we yield to His will and ordering of the circumstances in our lives that we might succeed in the tasks for which we
were created. I believe that we are vessels created by a loving God who wants more than anything to share Himself with us.
We must put our faith in Him. We must allow him to pour his spirit into us as water is poured into a clay pitcher. When we
have done this, God can use us to pour his spirit into others - water flowing from vessel to vessel.
My purpose
is to share this message with all who will hear it. There are two ways in which God has instructed me, His servant, to do
this:
One is by creating and distributing a line of pottery wich I have chosen to name "Covenant Vessels."
Covenant Vessels are gifts of pottery which are not only functional as everyday dishware, but are also designed to enable
the giver to share the Good News of Christ with friends and loved ones. To learn more, please visit the "Covenant Vessels"
page, or click here.
The other is by giving a pottery presentation which I have rehearsed and demonstrated for groups of believers
across the country. My presentation allows me the opportunity to share in person my beliefs and understanding of who God is
and what his motive is for designing us as vessels of His love. I tailor this presentation specifically to match the needs
and age of each group attending. During our time together I try to demonstrate how a potter shapes an ordinary lump of clay
into vessels of superb form with specific use creating exquisite beauty. To learn more about this presentation and find out
how you can schedule one for your group, visit the "Pottery Presentation" page, or click here.
I hope the work I do here ministers to you. I am so glad to bring you the wonderful news that God loves you
and that you were made in his image to accomplish incredible things for His glory. May God bless you, and please contact me
if I can be of service.
In Him,
Winston Wigand
