Raku Jack-O-Lantern: $32.00

It may not be the season yet, but it's never too early to get ready. And this guy's too cute to wait for! He was fired using a traditional Japanese method called Raku, wherein the piece is exposed to extremely high heat, then cut off suddenly from oxegen and left to smolder. The result is the beautiful array of metalic color. No design can ever be exactly reproduced. Truly one of a kind!

Knot-handled Casserole Dish: $48.00

What makes this piece special is not just the artful handle but also the green glaze - a shade I don't often use. This piece is also a useful baking dish: oven and microwave safe.

Horse Hair Vase: $62.00

Once fired, the piece is taken immediately out of the kiln before it has time to cool. Actual horse hair is thrown onto the vessel to be burned instantly into the glaze, creating the striking effect you see here. This will look beautiful as a centerpiece or on the mantle.

All pieces are made of terra cotta clay. These pieces tend to be more fragile than average dishes. Unless noted otherwise in the descriptions, please do not attempt to cook with these particular vessels! Also, a shipping or delivery fee may be applied.
